883 | La lunga estate caldissima
The 883 was a pop music group composed initially of Italian Max Pezzali and Mauro Repetto and later by Pezzali and other musicians.
The story of 883 begins at Pavia in the eighties, the two classmates Pezzali and Repetto started writing songs and dreaming of America's success. The first opportunity to show off came in 1989, participating in the program "1-2-3 Jovanotti", conducted by the then emerging Lorenzo Cherubini, aka Jovanotti. The two call themselves "The Pop" and singing parts in English (one of them titled Live in the music) with sounds rather than rap. The experience ends there and does not seem to produce any result.
